My Girl
She's tightly swaddled and sleeping soundly in my lap. Her warm breathing and little squeaks are almost too much to bare. Her fingers are long and strong and when she grasps my finger tightly she might as well be squeezing my heart. She's pure magic. And in just a few hours I'm going to have her home. Thanks for the support and encouragement from all. Full details and more photos to come soon. I can't wait for you to meet her.

okay, so I'm sitting in Orosi, Costa Rica... waiting in an electronic line to deal with my bell bill (on-line)... so I thought I'd catch up on some blogging... and now I'm sitting in Orosi, Costa Rica, still waiting for Bell Canada, but now I have tears streaming down my face! Shantih! I'm glad you received my happy news way over there in paradise... we miss you and I can't wait for you to meet the newest member of our yoga team. All that practicing help me produce one hell of a pretty baby - couldn't have gone through the birth without the techniques I learned from you. I thought about you during more than a few of the more wicked contractions!
And Dawn - I've seen some of your comments on MFM and always paid attention to the name. We chose it because it's my sister's middle name, but also because it's simply lovely. What is more beautiful than the start of a new day?
She's wonderful! How lovely! Can't wait to meet her -- congratulations to the both of you. Yay!
